RoSy – Road and Airport Asset Management System
RoSy is a digital asset management system developed by Sweco to support the efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of infrastructure such as roads and airport pavements. The system helps infrastructure owners and operators make data-driven decisions about maintenance, investments, and long-term asset management.

RoSy collects and analyzes data on the condition and performance of infrastructure assets and uses advanced calculation models to identify optimal maintenance strategies. By combining detailed condition assessments with forecasting tools, the system enables users to plan maintenance activities and budget allocations over long time horizons—often up to 20 years. This helps organizations minimize lifecycle costs while maintaining high standards of safety and performance.

The platform includes several specialized modules. For example, RoSy RAMS (Road Asset Management System) is used to manage road networks, including carriageways, cycle paths, sidewalks, and related infrastructure. It provides clear overviews of asset conditions, supports maintenance planning, and visualizes data through maps and reporting tools.

For aviation infrastructure, Sweco offers RoSy APMS (Airport Pavement Management System). This module helps airport operators monitor and maintain critical pavement areas such as runways, taxiways, and aprons. The system supports strategic maintenance planning by providing detailed pavement condition data and recommended actions to ensure safe and reliable airport operations. RoSy APMS follows internationally recognized standards such as ASTM and ICAO and uses the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method to assess pavement quality.
